What is the difference between HealthStream and the County's Dayforce LMS?

HealthStream is a learning tool that will be used for all DHHS specific trainings, policies, and procedures. Dayforce LMS will continue to be used for all County-wide mandatory trainings. HealthStream will not replace Dayforce LMS or duplicate its content. These are two separate training tools with unique trainings in each. You will be responsible for completing training in HealthStream and Dayforce LMS.

If I am classifed as a Contractor, do I have acccess to HealthStream?

Yes, contracted staff will have access to HealthStream. However, roll-out is happening in phases. If you currently do not have access, but believe you should, please contact [email protected] with the HealthStream Account Request Form.

How Do I Develop a Training?

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) establishes a wide variety of training opportunities that assist with employee health and safety, skill acquisition, leadership development and career growth. The Workforce Training & Development Team is here to assist with this process. To ensure training materials meet the standard, we have listed the guidelines on how to develop a training below.

Interested in developing a training?

First, review our catalog to determine if we have a training to address your need.

Workforce Training & Development Course Catalog

If we do not have a training in place already, fill out the request to develop a training below.

Request to Develop a Training

Please note that all new DHHS Training Requests must be submitted through WTD. The WTD Steering Committee will work with the Milwaukee County HR Learning & Development Team (L&D) to determine if this will be handled within DHHS or with the assistance of L&D. Review Workforce Training & Development's Course Catalog and L&D's Course Catalog prior to submitting a new request.
