  • DHHS Overview

HealthStream Learning Management System

HealthStream is the learning tool that will facilitate a blended learning model allowing for: Pre-Assignments (pretests, readings, videos, etc.); Post-Assignments (surveys, links to read the policy and sign off, post-assessments, etc.); and Assignments in between trainings (videos, readings, etc.). HealthStream will manage and track: Online trainings, virtual live trainings and in-person trainings.

What is the difference between HealthStream and the County's Dayforce LMS?

HealthStream is a learning tool that will be used for all DHHS specific trainings, policies, and procedures. Dayforce LMS will continue to be used for all County-wide mandatory trainings. HealthStream will not replace Dayforce LMS or duplicate its content. These are two separate training tools with unique trainings in each. You will be responsible for completing training in HealthStream and Dayforce LMS.

If I am classifed as a Contractor, do I have acccess to HealthStream?

Yes, contracted staff will have access to HealthStream. However, roll-out is happening in phases. If you currently do not have access, but believe you should, please email us with the HealthStream Account Request Form. Otherwise, contracted staff can access HealthStream using this link.

WTD Presents: DEI Training

DHHS continues to work with Uplifting Impact as part of our commitment to continuous improvement and racial equity. In this multi-phase training project, there is a combination of virtual and in-person events that began in August and continue through the end of the year. There will be ways we can progressively take our learning deeper and then apply and reflect what we can do for personal and institutional change.

The newest phase of DEI In-Application Trainings will consist of virtual teaching sessions on Zoom. There are 5 dates remaining:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 3, 11:00-12:30 PM
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2:00-3:30 PM
  • Tuesday, Oct. 24, 11:00-12:30 PM
  • Thursday, Nov. 2, 10:00-11:30 AM
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14, 11:00-12:30 PM

Spots are limited and the WTD team is asking you to sign up in advance at this link. Once you sign up, you will receive a calendar invite with the Zoom link from the WTD team.

To prepare, make sure you are current with the first phase of the DEI training, which consists of micro-learning videos and are currently on HealthStream (all DHHS employees were assigned the Optional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training course, if you need assistance accessing this email [email protected]).
