The application and more information is available online. This partnership is designed to support Milwaukee County small businesses and qualify for procurement opportunities to compete and win jobs.

Milwaukee County reviews RFP's and past history data as well as looking at departmental activities and achievement history to determine the appropriate goals using the US DOT recommendations for determining availability by NAICS code and utilizing US Census and other available data.

FAA DBE

Milwaukee County Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goals for United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Assisted Projects Federal Fiscal Years 2023-2025

In accordance with USDOT Regulations, Milwaukee County has established goals for participation by certified DBE firms on the County's federally assisted airport projects anticipated for Federal Fiscal Years 2023-2025.

The County has set the following preliminary goal for DBE participation related to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport:

 

•              The overall DBE goal is 12.6% (3.0% will be race-neutral and 9.6% race-conscious)

 

If, and/or when, opportunities arise, goals may be modified accordingly per 49 CFR Part 26.

FTA DBE

Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) has budgeted FTA-assisted contracts for FFY2018-2020 totalling $8,933,945. The overall DBE goal is 12.6% (3.0% will be race-neutral and 9.6% race-conscious)

FAA ACDBE

As of October 1, 2017, Milwaukee County's current ACDBE non-car rental goal is 12% and car rental goal is 3% pending finalization of the goal setting process and review by the FAA.
