The Architectural Services Unit provides planning, design, project management and technical services in building maintenance, remodeling, additions and new construction for all Milwaukee County departments. 

Specific services provided include scope, budget and project standards development; consultant selection, review and development of design and construction documents; assistance in bidding, procurement and construction administration; and over-all project management.

Civil Engineering & Site Development Unit

The Civil Engineering and Site Development Unit provides civil engineering, construction management, and land surveying services for a variety of facilities throughout Milwaukee County including, but limited to, parks vast trails and parkways network, Lake Michigan coastal management, transit facilities upgrades, and exterior building improvements. 

Specific services include project management, planning and design, technical specifications and bidding documents, engineering feasibility studies and needs assessments for Milwaukee County facilities, certified survey maps, site surveys, cost estimating, and construction management.

Airport Engineering

The Airport Engineering Unit is responsible for the design and construction of capital projects at Milwaukee County’s Airports. This includes Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Timmerman Airport (MWC).

The unit consists of eight committed professionals responsible for overseeing and guiding projects from inception to completion. The team ensures all project’s goals are met while working closely with key stakeholders including government agencies, various airport departments, airport tenants, and airlines.
