Still a manufacturing stronghold, the region features 16 Fortune 1000 companies and thousands of others in the financial services, medical device, hospitality and retailing industries.

MCLIO's applications and GIS data will now be available on two new hubs: Land Information Applications, which is simply the new home for our applications, and GIS Data Downloads which is where you will find all of our data downloads and download related applications. This will replace our Open Data Portal and Data Download Form, which are both being retired. Now you will be able to access the contents of both in one location, as well as additional downloads that were not available before.
These new hubs will soon be available on our updated website.
Two applications will no longer featured on our website: 3D Buildings Viewer and Lidar and Imagery Data Download and Viewer. Here is a breakdown of where to go for which functionality of those apps:
As a reminder, MCLIO is in the process of retiring several cached imagery services. Please view this document to see the list of cached services retiring in early 2024 and the rest end links to their replacements.
The cached reference basemap and cached street labels will also be retiring in early 2024. Milwaukee County participates in the ESRI Community Maps program and submits reference data every six months. The cached reference services can be replaced by the following items:
