Open Area Picnic Spots

Available 7 days a week, May 15 – Oct. 15, between 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on the day of your rental, rain or shine.
Rental rates are based on area capacities, amenities, and whether the day of the picnic falls on a weekday or weekend.
If you plan on bringing and consuming alcohol or putting up a tent, you must reserve a site.
Staking is NOT allowed, due to underground irrigation systems, power lines or other utility lines. Tents or other structures must be secured with sandbags or weights.
Designated First-Come, First-Served Picnic Areas are available however they do NOT allow you to bring or consume alcohol at the site.
Select Picnic Areas will allow amplified sound, when permission is granted by the Public Services Office (see table below).

Picnic Areas with Shelters

Available 7 days a week, May 15 – Oct. 15, between 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on the day of your rental, rain or shine.
These rentals may include the use of picnic tables, restrooms, and access to electrical outlets (where available, see table below, view the rentals guide for all ammenity options).

Picnic Rental Rules & Regulations

How to Rent

Picnic areas, shelters and pavilions may be rented online or by calling our Public Services Team, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., at (414) 257-8005. We accept bookings two years in advance. We require notice of at least seven days for reservations made in person or by phone, and we need at least 10 days notice for reservations made online. Payment in full is required to confirm your booking. We accept MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Visa.

Cancellations

To cancel your reservation, you must submit the Cancellation Request Form to the Public Services Office. If your cancellation is received within 24 hours of making the initial reservation, you will receive a full refund. After 24 hours, a non-refundable $25 processing fee will be charged for all picnic cancellations. If your cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled rental date, you will not be eligible for a refund. If you made payment with cash or check, please allow 6-8 weeks for a check refund to be processed.
