Our Mission

Our mission is to steward a thriving park system that positively impacts every Milwaukee County Parks visitor. Here's how we do it…

Open Space Stewards

The Parks Operations Team oversees 16,000 acres of managed and natural areas of park land. You'll see our operations crew throughout the year maintaining the parks through duties such as trash pickup, forestry management, trail maintenance, graffiti removal, snow removal, athletic-field preparation, rentals preparation, and mowing.
