Initiate a Project: Community Project Request
The Community Project Request process allows members of the public or organizations to submit proposals for review by Milwaukee County Parks. Requests may range from renovating a building to planting a pollinator garden.
Applications should contain as much information as possible. Proposals that are well-vetted and contain budgets, funding, maintenance plans, and designs are more likely to proceed. If a project advances, it may require a Right of Entry Permit and Maintenance Agreement. Projects that are approved will need to be managed and implemented by the applicant.
Fall Submission Deadline: Nov. 11, 2024 (determination by Dec. 16)
Spring Submission Deadline: May 12, 2025 (determination by June 9)
