Thank you for your interest in improving Milwaukee County Parks! We have a few avenues to make it easy for you to make a project request and understand our most common request processes. Use the forms below to submit a project request. Most requests are reviewed twice a year, so anticipate submitting your request several months in advance of your desired schedule.

Park Improvement Projects

Do you have an idea for a project in a Milwaukee County Park? The Park Improvement Project process allows members of the public or organizations to submit project proposals for review by Milwaukee County Parks. Please provide as much information as possible. Ideas that are well-vetted and contain project budgets, funding, maintenance plans and diagrams are more likely to proceed.

Park improvement projects may range from renovating a roof to constructing an entire new facility.

Renaming a Park, Parkway, Parks Facility

Parks, parkways and park facilities are public assets that foster dynamic connections within our community. Their names contribute to the culture and identity of our community.

The public is welcome to propose new names that align with the geographic, historical, cultural or social significance of the location, and may recognize significant contributions of individuals or organizations to the local community, Milwaukee County, the State of Wisconsin, the United States of America or Native lands.

Land Donations

To leave a legacy, you may wish to donate land that supports a long-term Milwaukee County Parks objective, such as connecting park sites, preserving a natural area or expanding access to an underserved area. While we are not currently working to dramatically expand our footprint, occasionally an opportunity surfaces that we can’t refuse. If you are interested in donating a parcel of land, you will need to complete this form.
