RFP: WY085401 Solar Energy Feasibility Assessment 

The Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services (DAS), and Department of Transportation (DOT) are requesting proposals from qualified providers to evaluate the feasibility of installing a large-scale solar photovoltaic system at Milwaukee County Fleet Management. Scope of the study will include: 

  • Land Use, Technical Analysis, and Risk Assessment 
  • Evaluation of the Facility's Current Energy Usage & Economic Analysis 
  • Evaluation of Future Energy Requirements - Specifically Power Demands Related to Fleet Electrification 
  • Legal Review & Coordination with Local Utility 
  • Coordination with County Staff to Gather Information Related to Future Needs and Evaluate Existing Infrastructure 
  • Develop a Formal Report of Findings and Recommendations
