C214-19425: RFP Milwaukee County Center for Forensic Science and Protective Medicine and Office of Emergency Management-Architectural Design Services

Milwaukee County Department of Aministrative Services is requesting proposals for professional consulting services for planning and design for the Milwaukee County Center for Forensic Science & Protective Medicine (CFSPM). This center will be a tenant in a building to be constructed by others on the Milwaukee County Grounds in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and will house the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner and the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management. Pre-Proposal Meeting on November 13, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Proposals due November 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.

The scope of work will generally include:

a.  Development of the design base upon the program statement/reports of the CFSPM provided by Milwaukee County.

b.  Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Contract Documents and Bidding Phase Services, Occupancy

c.  Design services shall include architectural, civil/site, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and any specialty facilities or systems as necessary for a complete project.

d.  Work closely with the building owner/developer's project team to confirm that requirements of the CFSPM are met throughout the building.

e.  Work closely with the County's project manager/owner representative and assist the manager in meeting their obligations.
