Milwaukee County Parks lifeguards teach all levels of swimmers. Adults must accompany children, from 6 months of age through toddlers, for the entire class. Sign up at the pool.
Aqua Zumba, or the Zumba® pool party, gives new meaning to working out. Splashing, stretching, twisting and shouting are all part of the workout.
Aqua Zumba classes bring together traditional aqua fitness disciplines with the Zumba formula and philosophy — using a party-like atmosphere for an exhilarating workout with exotic rhythms set to Latin and international beats.
Each pool has a lobby, indoor pool deck area, a concessions area and soda machine. The pools range in depth from 3 feet to 12 feet and have diving boards. Water volleyball or basketball equipment is available for added water fun.
Deep-well pools are open in the summer months from mid-June to mid-August. Purchase a summer season pass for unlimited entry to all deep-well pools or pay per visit.
