Z150-14449: Milwaukee County Zoo Hoofstock Quarantine Building
The Hoofstock Quarantine Building is a new building enclosure consisting of a pre-engineered (field fabricated) Post Wood Frame Building System. The new enclosure shall have two (2) overhead insulated rolling service doors (south side) and three personnel doors. The new enclosure shall have a poured in-place concrete foundation. Inside the pre-engineered enclosure are four (4) holding stalls of concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction. The stall wall top is 11'-4" above the finished floor line with a wire mesh ceiling. There will be a total of nine (9) sliding gates to allow the transfer of animals into or between each stall. Along the north and south side of the building are keeper corridors for zoo personnel to tend to the quarantine animals.
