RFP: WY085401, Solar Energy Feasibility Assessment, Milwaukee County Fleet Management

The Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services (DAS), and Department of Transportation (DOT) are requesting proposals from qualified providers to evaluate the feasibility of installing a large-scale solar photovoltaic system at Milwaukee County Fleet Management

Scope of the study will include:

  1. Land Use, Technical Analysis, and Risk Assessment
  2. Evaluation of the Facility’s Current Energy Usage & Economic Analysis
  3. Evaluation of Future Energy Requirements – Specifically Power Demands Related to Fleet Electrification
  4. Legal Review & Coordination with Local Utility
  5. Coordination with County Staff to Gather Information Related to Future Needs and Evaluate Existing Infrastructure
  6. Develop a Formal Report of Findings and Recommendations

Refer to the Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services Facilities Management Division Consultation Agreement for Professional Services – Type “D” Agreement, attached to the Request for Proposal to find additional information regarding contract requirements for Milwaukee County Professional Services.
