WY062506 RFP: Lighting Jobs Program Administration

Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services (DAS) invites community agencies, organizations, and interested parties to submit proposals for administering an exciting new, four-year Lighting Jobs Program (‘program’) starting January 1, 2023. The selected proposer (‘Vendor’) will recruit, train, support, hire, and deploy unemployed and underemployed Milwaukee County residents (youth and/or adults) to survey and replace interior lighting in County-owned buildings under the supervision of the County’s licensed electricians TBD. The goal of the program is to improve the energy efficiency of Milwaukee County buildings while dismantling barriers to careers in the skilled trades.

An optional Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held virtually on September 7, 2022 at 2:00pm. Parties interested in participating in the pre-proposal meeting must indicate their interest via email to sustainability@milwaukeecountywi.gov no later than September 5, 2022. NOTE: this mailbox will be unmonitored from July 29-August 30.  

Proposals Due: September 21, 2022 no later than 3:00pm. Submissions must be in PDF format and sent to sustainability@milwaukeecountywi.gov . Proposals submitted by any other means othan than email attachmnet, including via cloud service link, will be rejected.
