Chinese lanterns light up the night at Boerner Botanical Gardens from September to October. The event is a partnership between Milwaukee County Parks and the event organizers and has helped bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in ticket sales, which has helped fund improvements at Boerner Botanical Gardens.

Fyxation Bicycles
Fyxation Bicycles, headquartered in Riverwest, teamed up with Milwaukee County Parks to create a unique Beer Garden Bicycle. The bike helped bring people into the beer gardens (profits go to parks), helped promote biking on the Oak Leaf Trail and showcased the custom bikes that Fyxation designs.
