Hoyt Mountain Bike Trail
Hoyt Park is a 1.9 mile loop along the Menomonee River, located in Wauwatosa on the city’s west side. Mostly singletrack, the loop includes both easy and more challenging sections with minor roots and rock gardens and limited elevation. Hoyt is an excellent place to get started riding.
Rules:
- Closed when muddy

- Ride counterclockwise
Access in Hoyt Park:
- The trailhead is at the entrance to Hoyt Park, which may be entered off Swan Blvd in Wauwatosa
- Parking is available in the Hoyt Park lot

Kegel Alpha Mountain Bike Trail
Kegel Alpha is a 4-mile trail system located in Franklin, on the city’s southwest side in Whitnall Park. The trail is mostly singletrack, with both easy and challenging loops that feature flowing trails, tight and twisty sections, and more climbing than available at Oak Hill or Hoyt. All trails are beginner to intermediate.
Rules:
- Multi-use trail
- Open dawn until 10pm
- Closed when muddy
Access in Whitnall Park:
- Accessed via south 92nd St. with the trailhead located on the east side of the road
- Parking is available at the trailhead
- Additional parking is available across the street and slightly down the road in the golf course parking lot

Oak Hill Mountain Bike Trail
Oak Hill is a trail system located on Milwaukee’s west side. The 5.6 mile trail is all singletrack, with both easy and challenging loops that feature flowing trails, tight and twisty climbs, boardwalk bridges and even a couple water crossings.
Rules:
- Trails are slow to dry - closed when muddy
- Multi-use trails
Access:
- There are two trailheads for accessing Oak Hill, one on Hampton on the west side of the bridge, south side of the road, and one on the north side of Capitol, just west of the bridge
- Parking is on the street
- Menomonee Pkwy offers easy parking and access to the Capitol trailhead

Bubba's Woods Mountain Bike Trail
Bubba's Woods Trail in Wauwatosa, is a mostly flat, tight single-track. It is level with a few short intermediate obstacles that can easily be walked (no workarounds). It is a connector trail into the Oak Leaf Trail.

- Multi-use trail
- Open dawn until 10pm
- Closed when muddy
Access:
- West Burleigh Street, east of the Menomonee River Parkway
