Play ball at one of Milwaukee County Parks' regulation baseball, softball or little league diamonds. Sign up for a softball league or reserve your own space to play, April through October at various parks throughout Milwaukee County.
All primary fields are available for single games, leagues and tournament play only. Bases, mound, foul lines and batter's box are included in rental fee. All primary softball fields have adjustable base lengths of 60', 65' and 70' as well as desired mound distances.
These fields are classified as standard fields that include a backstop, bleachers and players benches. All standard fields are available for any type of play. Some standard softball fields have adjustable base lengths of 60', 65' and 70' as well as adjustable mound distances.
Note: Parks have until 4 p.m. to cancel games.
The Milwaukee County Parks reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or relocate any rental if rental facility is not in playable condition. Every attempt possible will be made to avoid any and all inconveniences to customers. Groups who fail to follow field condition decisions could be charged for damages regardless if permits are taken out. For weekend rentals, park personnel will be in direct contact with the permit holder at least two hours prior to start of rental. At any time, please refer to your permit for specific operations contact information.
These leagues are for beginners or players looking to have fun in a less competitive environment. Composite bats may be used in these leagues but must be on the ASA approved bat list. No metal spikes are allowed in any social league. See the League Rule Book for league specifics. Maximum teams per league is eight with minimum of four for league play with a total of 10 weeks/games. To be considered for acceptance into any league, each manager must submit all required forms and fees during registration periods. Preference will be given on a first-come, first-served basis until each league is filled. No tournament or awards are offered for these leagues.

Form a team of friends, all 18 years or older. Each team must have a manager and can have an unlimited roster. The team manager must submit an official application form and pay the registration fees by the registration deadline. Preferences will be given on a first-come, first-served basis until each league is filled.
Team Enrollment includes team fee and 11 players. Extra Players are $20.00/player (Max Roster to 15 players)

Purchase a practice permit to ensure your team's access to specific fields/courts throughout the park system. Specific locations can be reserved seven days or less in advance of your preferred date, and same-day requests are not accepted. Multiple permits can be issued per day for specific fields. All single-game reservations have a minimum rental time of two hours. A minimum of seven business days notice is required for game use.
Groups or organizations looking to host tournaments or events using Milwaukee County Parks athletic facilities must submit an application to the Organized Sports Office. A tournament is defined as an athletic or sports competition that meets the criteria listed below. End-of-league or end-of-season tournaments may be considered a tournament, for permitting purposes, and not a continuation of league play.
