Milwaukee Air & Water Show

July 25 – 26, Veterans Park

The spectacular show, sponsored by Waterstone Bank, features displays by military air and water performance groups — including the Blue Angels! Head to Veterans Park and Bradford Beach for the best viewing locations.

Milwaukee Brewfest

July 25, McKinley Park

Sample craft beers from nearly 100 local breweries at this outdoor beerfest on the shores of Lake Michigan at the 11th annual Milwaukee Brewfest.

The Botanical Gardens is aglow with colorful lantern displays and cultural entertainment in this unique night-time event.

PHC Classic Symetra Golf Tour

Aug. 7 – 9, Brown Deer Golf Course

Players from around the world — all on the road to the LPGA — compete for the $15,000 first-place payout and a spot in The Evian Championship. The golf tournament is free for spectators.

Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon

Oct. 4, Veterans Park

The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon is a USATF-certified course ending at Veterans Park. This flat, scenic, point-to-point course travels south through rural countryside, quiet neighborhoods and finishes along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Music in the Parks

June – September, Multiple Parks

Over 200 live performances are held in the parks each summer, and they're all free to attend. Concerts series include Jazz in the Park at Cathedral Square, the themed entertainment of Washington Park Wednesdays and Bay View's Chill on the Hill series.

Bastille Days

Fall (TBA), Cathedral Square Park

Enjoy a taste of France at the annual Bastille Days organized by Eastown Association. The event includes the Storm the Bastille 5k run (a virtual run in 2020).

Fireworks at Milwaukee's Lakefront

July 3 Fireworks

July 3, Veterans Park

Milwaukee's annual tradition returns in 2020 with a 45-minute fireworks show presented by American Family Insurance, the Milwaukee Brewers Foundation and T&M Partners. Head to Veterans Park for the best viewing location.

Milwaukee Pugfest

May 15 - 17, Milwaukee County Sports Complex

The largest pug event in North America returns for its 16th year. The event features dog vendors, costume contests, pet photography, grooming and a pug race.
