About Supervisor Roundtree Jr.
Leevan D. Roundtree Jr. serves as the Milwaukee County Board Supervisor for District 5 and is a lifelong resident with deep ties to the community. As an educator, entrepreneur, and advocate, he is committed to delivering real, meaningful results for his neighbors. He was sworn into office on Monday, April 20, 2026, to begin his first term.
Roundtree Jr. earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Retail Management with a Design Specialization. He is the founder of LeVan Haus, a Milwaukee-based fashion and consulting business, and has also worked in the film industry as a costume designer. Since 2017, he has served in leadership roles across various Milwaukee organizations, including operations and communications, where he has supported social services and workforce development efforts in the community.

Roundtree Jr.’s public service is grounded in education, economic opportunity, and youth advocacy. As a teacher, he has been a strong voice for student well-being and expanded mental health resources in schools. He has also supported local business workshops, nonprofit arts events, and civic engagement efforts throughout Milwaukee. As County Supervisor, he is committed to advocating for affordable workspace, job-training opportunities, grants for startups, youth programs, and neighborhood improvements in District 5.
Above all, Supervisor Roundtree Jr. values collaboration and regular constituent engagement. He believes lasting progress is built together, one day, one conversation, and one courageous decision at a time.
