Milwaukee County Scorecard

Milwaukee County is committed to being transparent about how we’re doing on the goals we set. This Scorecard shows our progress over time on key metrics from each County department. Start exploring the dashboard below and email us with any questions.

How to Use the Dashboard

  • First use the filter on the top left to select a Milwaukee County Department. A list of metrics will pop up under the last filter.

  • Then choose one of the metrics in the list. The selected metric will appear in the chart.

  • Select the “View Data Notes” button inside the dashboard for details on definitions, data sources, and more. To go back to the chart, click the arrow for "Return to Scorecard" in the upper right of the dashboard.

About the Scorecard

This Scorecard highlights the top metrics each department identified as most important to achieving Milwaukee County’s strategic goals. Departments track many other activities, but these metrics were selected because they best reflect our commitment to doing what we said we would do.

As part of our performance and strategic planning cycles, these metrics will be reviewed and updated. The current cycle runs through 2027, with the next cycle beginning January 1, 2028.
