Youth Commissioner Emilio Ramirez
Dear Neighbors,
I chose to serve on the Youth Commission because I believe that the voice of the youth should always be considered in decisions that may impact them. The Youth Commission has given me the opportunity to serve as an outlet for the beliefs, wants, and overall voice of the youth in Milwaukee County. I have loved serving an active role in the county and getting to know more about the youth who live inside it. I want to continue working towards a Milwaukee County where young people feel represented, equal, and educated. Biography
Emilio currently serves as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Advocacy and Community Engagement (ACE) Committee. Outside of the Youth Commission, Emilio is a senior at Marquette University High School and will graduate in May of 2026. He enjoys talking with friends, listening to music, and learning new things. Emilio is an active member of his school’s Speech and Debate Team, Key Club, and more. He is excited to help make Milwaukee County a better place for everyone.
