Commissioner Aundrea-Claire Jones-Dixon
Dear Neighbors,
Dear Neighbor,
I choose to serve on the Milwaukee County Youth Commission because I appreciate and value the
opportunity to be an advocate for change and growth while representing my community, and
the greater Milwaukee area. The conversations that we have as a collective body help me
broaden my perspective on policy making and public service. This guides me in understanding
how to be most effective in serving my community, sharing my experiences, and having
understanding connections with people in my community.
Please reach out to me with your questions and concerns about our district, I look forward to
connecting with you!

Biography
Aundrea-Claire is currently a Sophomore at Dominican High School. She is a very engaged member of the Dominican community, and is involved in many clubs; including campus ministry and veritas (the preaching team at her school), the school newspaper, student government, debate team, theater, and the golf team. Outside of school, she loves spending time watching her favorite shows and movies, enjoying family time, good food, and relaxation. With training in
dance, her focus is in classical ballet and jazz. She prides herself in doing her best to follow through on her word. Passionate about continually learning and growing in every situation, she believes in this as a good way forward for personal growth and accountability.
The reason she chooses to serve on Youth Commission is because of her desire to help curate spaces filled with more empathy and understanding around racial equity throughout Milwaukee County - she sees Youth Commission as an opportunity to do so. Aundrea-Claire believes that Milwaukee County has the potential to be unified in diversity of thought, for the sake of a brighter future, and wellness for all.
