THIS WEEKEND: County Executive David Crowley to Deliver Commencement Addresses at UW-Milwaukee and MATC
Crowley will receive his bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee this weekend
MILWAUKEE – This weekend, County Executive David Crowley will deliver commencement addresses at two Milwaukee higher education institutions.
On Saturday, December 14, at 11:00 AM, County Executive Crowley will deliver the keynote address at the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) 2024 Winter Commencement Ceremony at Fiserv Forum. The college will celebrate graduates from associate degree, technical diploma, apprenticeship, and adult high school programs. On Sunday, December 15, at 10:00 AM, County Executive Crowley will deliver the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee commencement address at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. David will also be receiving his bachelor’s degree in Community Engagement and Education from the UWM School of Education during this ceremony. Crowley is finishing his bachelor’s degree while balancing the needs of his family and faithfully serving the people of Milwaukee County. Members of the media wishing to cover the commencement ceremonies should enter through the Panther Arena’s main doors and ask for assistance from an usher. Media may shoot video or photos from the back or sides of the arena but should stay out of the middle aisles to avoid interfering with students. There is limited riser space behind the first section of seats. Media are asked to RSVP via email to [email protected].
