2024 Healthy County Challenge

Events that foster wellness

Healthy County Challenge

In 2022, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley launched the Healthy County Challenge – an initiative aimed at bringing County residents into parks, trails, nature areas, beaches, and other outdoor spaces to foster physical and mental wellness. For the past two summers, the Healthy County Challenge has hosted more than thirteen events in twelve parks, attracting more than 730 individuals to get active and engaged in their parks.

Back for its third summer, the 2024 Healthy County Challenge brings even more opportunities to get outside, move your body, and improve your mental health. This initiative would not be possible without the partnership from the Milwaukee Parks Foundation, Milwaukee County Parks, our accessibility partner The Ability Center, and the generous support of the Brewers Community Foundation.
