Assistant Superintendent Anthony Dodd Sr.
Anthony Dodd began his career as a correctional officer with the House of Correction on Jan. 4, 1999. He was selected in 2009 as an instructor in the Discipline Order Training Structure Boot camp/Program to lead training and instruct cognitive thinking and anger management courses. In October of 2011, Dodd was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, where he served as the field training officer commander and the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) coordinator. In May of 2014, Dodd was selected as a member of the House of Correction’s Internal Affairs Division, in which he received training from the Institute of Law Enforcement Administration for interviewing and interrogation. In June of 2014, Dodd became certified by the Department of Justice as a PREA auditor for adult prisons and juvenile facilities. He is also a principle of subject control and general jail instructor. In January of 2019 Dodd was promoted to the rank of captain, and leads the Internal Affairs Division. Captain Dodd graduated from the UW-Parkside with a bachelor's degree in sociology.
Captain Brandon Hutchins
Captain Hutchins began his career as a correctional officer on Jan. 10, 2000. During his time as an officer, he has been assigned to many different areas within the organization that include: House of Correction, Community Correctional Center (Huber), Electronic Monitoring Unit (EMU), Special Housing Unit (SHU), Classification and Programming. He was promoted to lieutenant in June 2010 and was responsible for inmate programming. In June of 2017, he was promoted to the rank of captain. Captain Hutchins oversees inmate programming, Huber, electronic monitoring, industries, and the K-9 unit. Captain Hutchins has built strong relationships and partnerships among various organizations in the community to promote several re-entry opportunities for offenders. Captain Hutchins is also a certified instructor for the law enforcement standards board and a graduate of the leadership excellence program. Captain Hutchins graduated from Ottawa University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Captain Kathleen Sullivan
Captain Kathleen Sullivan started her tenure with Milwaukee County as a deputy sheriff in November 1992. She accepted a correction officer position with the Milwaukee County House of Correction in February 1994 during which time she became a transportation/weapons officer and a member of the correctional emergency response team. In 2007 she was promoted to the rank of sergeant, followed by a promotion to the rank of lieutenant in 2009. During this time she was responsible for the organizations Huber section. In 2013 she was promoted to her current position as a captain. In addition to the daily operation of the facility on second shift, Captain Sullivan oversees inmate grievances and the inmate video visiting program. Captain Sullivan graduated from the first class of Milwaukee County’s Leadership Excellence Program in March 2015.
Captain Damon Key
Captain Damon Key began his career as a correctional officer in February of 1999, during which time he was a member of the correctional emergency response team. He advanced to the rank of lieutenant in 2009 followed by a promotion to captain in 2010. In addition to the daily operation of the facility on second shift, Captain Key oversees inmate property management and classification. Captain Key graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor's degree in communications.
Captain Elizabeth Sharifian
Captain Elizabeth Sharifian began her career as a correction officer in May 1999. During her time as an officer, she has been assigned many different areas including, House of Correction, Community Correctional Center (Huber), Electronic Monitoring Unit, Day Reporting Center and County Jail Facility. She was promoted to correctional lieutenant in May 2011, as a lieutenant she was responsible to supervise and oversee the rebuilding of the Electronic Monitoring and the Huber Units at the House of Correction, as well as backup programs supervisor. She was promoted to captain on July 14, 2019. In addition to the daily operation of the facility on third shift, Captain Sharifian acts as the liaison for the medical services area and leads the supervisory training course for newly promoted lieutenants and oversees segregation areas within the facility.
