Having a voice among youths deals with our words being overlooked. Serving as a Youth Commissioner gives me the opportunity to have a voice without criticism. In my first year serving as a Youth Commissioner, I hope to make an impact and help my community.

Biography
Jhuablai Thao is a sophomore in high school and will graduate in 2028. Jhuablai participates in a variety of activities and clubs. The most notable is her experience with FIRST Robotics for 2 years and being part of student government for 3 years as of now. She wants to continue to not just work with her school community but expand to her home community. She has a voice to advocate not for just herself but also for others.
Growing up, Jhuablai always felt out of place. She grew up with her Hmong heritage following rules and cultural beliefs. She wants to surround herself with more than her own heritage. She finds herself loving to be a part of places that will help and influence others.
