Co-Chair Representative of the Board Chairperson
Sarah Bruett
Youth Commission Co-Chair Sarah Bruett
Dear Neighbors,
I chose to serve on the Youth Commission because I think it is rare for young people to have an opportunity to share their voice; furthermore, in Youth Commission, our voices are truly valued. I have really enjoyed getting to know people from other districts and get involved with my city. I strive to make Milwaukee a more inclusive place and improve issues relating to racial equity and homelessness. This past summer I tutored refugee students at SEA Literacy, and I made and served food to individuals facing food and housing insecurity.
I appreciate and value the opportunity to represent the youth of Milwaukee County.
