County Executive David Crowley Announces 2022 Budget Town Hall Series

County will host one in-person session and two virtual sessions

MILWAUKEE, WI – Today County Executive David Crowley announced three upcoming budget town hall sessions in August to preview the 2022 Milwaukee County budget and solicit public comment on the fiscal future of Milwaukee County. Starting in the last two weeks of August, Milwaukee County will host three town hall sessions to share information about the 2022 budget.

“I’m proud to announce this year’s budget town hall series as we continue our commitment to a transparent budget process in the face of the uncertainty caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. “As we continue to work on equitable vaccine distribution and strive to put COVID-19 behind us once and for all, public safety remains a top priority, which is why we’ve elected to hold one in-person townhall, with mask requirements in place, and two virtual townhalls. We remain committed to a transparent and safe budget process that informs residents about the future of Milwaukee County and potential investments in critical County services.”
