As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase, we want to mitigate the risk of Milwaukee County employees contracting the disease.
Our goal is to do everything we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among our workforce, keeping you and your co-workers safe and healthy. To accomplish this goal, we will be rolling out a new Health Screen Administrative Order. This Administrative Order will require all Milwaukee County employees and contractors to complete a daily health screen for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure on days they are working in-person.
We fully appreciate this may cause a minor inconvenience in your workday. For that, we thank you in advance for your willingness to help ensure the collective health of our workforce. The benefits of the daily health screen far outweigh any inconvenience. Again, our highest priority is to keep each of you, your co-workers, and the people we serve safe from this disease.
