Bring the family to Pelican Cove this Summer for a Water Safety Day! Activities include learning how to use a ring buoy to assist a swimmer in distress, understanding the importance of wearing a properly fitted life jacket, assessing water conditions at beaches, rivers, ponds, and pools, and taking a guided tour of the facility to become familiar with safety features such as non-swimmer lines, no-diving signs, first-aid stations, and more. This event will also be available in Spanish! For children ages 4 and up, caregivers, and adults. No signup. Simply show up -- or register, and every member of your group will receive a free pool pass at the event!
