What's New!

Changes Coming to GO Pass in 2017

 

Staring in June 2017, the eligibility requirements for obtaining a GO Pass will change, as well as the cost of using one to ride Milwaukee County Transit System busses.

Here's what's coming down the pipe:

January 17, 2017 A $5.00 fee will be charged to all new GO Pass participants.
June 11, 2017 Last day to use GO Pass for all riders who do not meet the new requirements.
June 26, 2017

Free rides end.

A $1.00 daily fare for GO Pass participants begins.

Location changes to sign up for a new GO Pass from the MCTS Administration building to the Milwaukee County Aging and Disability Resource Centers, located on the 3rd floor of the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center (1220 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee, WI 53205).

 

New Requirements:

  1. For residents age 65 or older: Must be receiving Medicaid or FoodShare benefits.
  2. For residents under age 65:
    • Must be receiving Social Security income through SSI or SSDI, or have a Veterans Disability designation; and...
    • Must receive Medicair or FoodShare benefits.

 

For those who no longer qualify:

You may still qualify for a reduced-fare M•CARD.

M•CARD fares are $1.10 per ride, $2.00 for a 1-Day Pass, or $32.00 for a 31-day pass.
