Ice Skate Downtown
We'll be building the ice for the 2020-2021 season! To be COVID-safe, the rink will require everyone to register for a limited number of timeslots for proper distancing. Wear a mask and bring your own skates to skate for free, or you can rent skates from us!

Reserve a COVID-Safe Chalet
These cozy structures feature a large window with expansive views at Milwaukee’s favorite beachside beer garden. What had been the outdoor table space is transformed into a string-lit village of 10 reservable heated chalets. Each reservation secures an outdoor chalet for 90 minutes for up to six people from the same household (or two people if from different households). Each reservation includes a food and beverage credit.

See Floral Shows at The Domes
Escape to a floral show combined with tropical and desert getaways — all under the three iconic domes!
Through Jan. 3, Holiday Floral Show: Poinsettia Promenade displays numerous varieties of this plant native to Mexico.
Jan. 16 - March 21, Garden Train Show: All Aboard-Games! features G-scale trains twisting and turning through environments from your favorite board games.

Support the Winter Farmers Market
Shop local, all winter! Find fresh produce and gifts from 30 local vendors. Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Parking and entry to the market are free. (To explore The Domes, you'll need to reserve a timeslot.)

Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe
Keep fit when there's snow! All Milwaukee County Parks allow cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Groomed cross-country trails are available at Brown Deer and Whitnall Park, and trails at Wehr Nature Center are ideal for snowshoeing.
On weekends, when conditions allow, the Whitnall Park Golf Clubhouse will offer rentals of both skis and snowshoes. For updates, call (414) 525-4765.
Go Sledding & Tubing
A dozen County Parks have hills ideal for sledding, when conditions allow. Due to COVID-19 regulations, no warming houses will be available this season.

Skating on Select Lagoons & Land Rinks - HIDDEN
When the ice on the lagoons reaches six inches of depth, grab your skates and head to the parks below. Some sites are managed by volunteers and friends groups. Skate at your own risk and always pay attention to thin-ice signs. Due to COVID-19 regulations, no warming houses will be available this season.
