Fathoms Below - Summer Floral Show at The Domes

Fathoms Below, Summer Floral Show

Explore a summer garden inspired by the depths of the ocean. Colorful fish sculptures swirl around plants resembling those on the ocean’s floor. Bright succulents and vivid 'Under the Sea Series' coleus add to a decorative coral reef and sunken ship. The show is included with general admission to The Domes.

In June, you’ll find weekly concert series getting under way on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There’s also live music on special nights at the beer gardens and at many of the farmers markets!

Porkapalooza at Whitnall Park Beer Garden

Father’s Day Porkapalooza

Enjoy a pig roast and a craft brew or two with Dad on Father’s Day! Gift of Wings Grill hosts a pig roast in July and August too, so make it a family event each month this summer. Close to Whitnall Park, the beer garden is nestled near the Root River and offers 24 tap handles.

Weekends at the Water Parks

Go down giant slides at Cool Waters Aquatic Park in Greenfield Park and at Schulz Aquatic Park in Lincoln Park. Be sure to check out the Lazy River at Schulz!

Miss Juneteenth Pageant

Juneteenth Day Pageant & Festival

Come out and support Milwaukee area teens as they compete for up to $3,000 in scholarships and prizes at the 2019 Miss and Little Miss Juneteenth Day Pageant. Also, join in the 48th annual celebration of African American freedom and achievement!

In June, you’ll find weekly farmers markets beginning to sprout up on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Fresh-from-the-farm produce from local farmers and a variety of prepared foods by local vendors are ready to take home or eat on the spot!

Big-Cup Golf Tournament

Milwaukee County's first big-cup golf tournament is here! A standard golf hole is 4.25 inches in diameter; the big cup is almost double that at 8 inches! Sign up with a friend for this two-person scramble.

Pet Walk MKE

Bring your pooch and join the Pet Walk to support local animals in need. The 5K timed run, and one-mile and 5K walks are followed by a post-race festival for the whole family. The event includes entertainment, dog agility courses, lure courses, a doggie fashion show and more.
