Brown Deer Park Golf Course Upgrades Historic Venue
As one of Milwaukee County Parks' oldest courses, Brown Deer Park Golf Course has a rich history: Tiger Woods' professional debut and John Daly and Jack Nicklaus playing the course. While the venue is no longer a site for PGA Tour events, it still hosts stops on the Symetra Tour.

Guy Smith Confirmed as New Parks Director

The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors voted in June to confirm Guy Smith as the new head of parks. He joined the department in 2004, starting as trails coordinator. He quickly grew into supervision and management and transitioned to several roles within the department, including deputy regional manager of land resources and chief of operations.
