Have a fun day running through the heart of Milwaukee! Join thousands of runners across three distances: marathon, half marathon, and 5K. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. All courses will be USATF Certified.
South Shore Half Marathon
April 6, South Shore Park
A budget-friendly chip-timed half-marathon from Badgerland Striders. The USATF-certified course follows an out-and-back route along the scenic Oak Leaf Trail.
Run for Lungs 5K
April 6, Humboldt Park
The run/walk through the park helps fund lung transplant research in honor of people with cystic fibrosis.
Gary's Gallop 5K
April 13, Start: Wisconsin Lutheran College Athletic Fields
Run the 5K or walk the 2-mile route along the scenic Underwood Creek Parkway. A kids' race is also offered.
Brew City Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
April 13, McKinley Park
The three chip-timed events take runners on a scenic tour. The half marathon takes runners along the Oak Leaf Trail and through Lake Park, Juneau Park, Riverside Park and Estabrook Park.
Cream City 5K
April 27, Greenfield Park
Enjoy a chip-timed 5K run/walk or the 1.5-mile walk through Greenfield Park and the Root River Parkway in West Allis. A Kids' Fun Run is also offered. The event raises awareness of and supports organ, eye, and tissue donation in Wisconsin.
Sweet Home Milwaukee 5K
April 27, Veterans Park
Run, walk or jog along Milwaukee's scenic Lakefront in this timed event. Finish the race and receive a medal that doubles as a bottle opener! Bring non-perishable food items for the race day food drive, held in partnership with Hunger Task Force.
Run for Water 5K
April 28, Veterans Park
A run for water by the water! Run or walk along Milwaukee's Lakefront in this chip-timed event. All proceeds benefit water projects undertaken by the UW-Milwaukee student chapter of Engineers Without Borders.
Derby Dash 5K
May 4, Whitnall Park near the Beer Garden
Run the USATF 5K certified route through the Root River Parkway near the Whitnall Park Beer Garden. The family-friendly event also offers a 1-mile walk. Enjoy contests and live entertainment. This event of the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin raises awareness about kidney health and the lifesaving treatments of dialysis and transplantation
EFW Rush for Education 5K
May 4, Start at Hart Park
Choose the competitive, timed 5K or the 1-mile fun walk/run along the Oak Leaf Trail between Hart Park and Hoyt Park, where the course loops back. The Educational Foundation of Wauwatosa uses this event to raise funds for grants supporting special programs in Wauwatosa schools.
Mother's Day 5K

Run or walk with mom in the chip-timed 5K or 10K. Each finisher receives a sweet treat and a rose—for moms to keep and for others to give. A Kids Dash is also available. The event supports the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance

The chip-timed 5K run/walk takes participants along the scenic Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa. A 1-mile event is available for the kiddos.
Reebock Ragner Great Midwest (about 200 miles)
May 17-18, Start in Waukegan, IL
Run as a team for about 200 miles from a suburb of Chicago to Madison, WI. Run past epic views of Lake Michigan, through the countryside near lakes, and over rolling hills with stars lighting your way. Watch as the sun come up, adding a warm glow to red barns and happy cows—quintessential Midwest scenery.

Country Sole Half Marathon & 5K

Choose the USATF-certified, chip-timed half marathon or the 5K. The event charity, Team Phoenix, is a team of multidisciplinary clinicians, triathlon coaches and volunteers who encourage and assist cancer survivors in regaining endurance, strength, flexibility, and overall health and wellness after cancer treatment by training for a sprint-distance triathlon.
Five Fifty Fifty 5K

Be part of a nationwide event: 5Ks in 50 States in 50 days to raise awareness and understanding of mental illness and mental health. The event is not timed. A goal is to help those who are suffering know they are not alone.
Run for Justice 5K

Run the 5K or walk the 1-mile course at Milwaukee's Lakefront. Race proceeds benefit the Milwaukee Justice Center, the self-help center in the Milwaukee County Courthouse offering assistance to those who cannot afford an attorney and are representing themselves in civil cases.
Super Run 5K

This USATF-certified 5K is a popular mid-week evening run in its 35th year. The course at the Lakefront and through Lake Park is challenging, with a long and winding hill, but the party afterwards is well worth the challenge.
Hartfest Half Marathon
June 22, Start: Hart Park
Run the professionally timed course through Wauwatosa along the paved, multi-use Oak Leaf Trail as well as gravel trails. Half of the event's profits are donated to Hartfest Charities to benefit various local causes.

A family-friendly and pet-friendly 5K walk/run along the scenic Root River Parkway. The event raises awareness and financial resources that support the Sarcoma Foundation of America's national research program, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin, and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Cudahy Classic, 10-mile, 5-mile

Now in its 59th year, the Cudahy Classic takes you along a mix of road, Oak Leaf Trail, and even some sections of grass to keep your senses alive! The 10-mile event is two laps of the flat and fast course. A 1-mile Children's Race is also available.
We Run, They Fly 5K & 10K
July 28, Start: Cupertino Park
Chip-timed 5K and 10K races, and a 5K walk kick off at Cupertino Park and take participants along Milwaukee's southern lakefront. Since its start, We Run, They Fly has provided the opportunity to 82 Veterans to have their Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Day.

The chip-timed, early-evening 5K run and 1.5-mile fun run/walk start south of the Estabrook Pond on the Oak Leaf Trail. The family-friendly event, complete with the Kids Pretzel Dash, is designed to promote fitness and a sense of community, with the finish line near the Estabrook Beer Garden and playground. All Run proceeds benefit the school's students.
MPS Run Back to School 5K
Aug. 24, Washington Park
Run the 5K or walk the 1.5-mile course through the Olmsted-designed Washington Park. After the races, enjoy family-friendly activities. Proceeds from the event support MPS youth recreation programs.
I Love WI 5K & 10K

Run or walk the chip-timed 5K or 10K at Milwaukee's Lakefront. 2019 marks "Year of the Beer," so each finisher age 21 & up receives a brew. A Kids 1K Fun Run is also available. The event's charity partner is the Hunger Task Force, Milwaukee's free and local food bank and Wisconsin’s leading anti-hunger organization.
The Glo Run 5K & 10K

Run Milwaukee at night in a timed 5K or 10K, or a fun run 5K—all at Milwaukee's Lakefront. The event charity partner is Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin.
Sept. 7, Menomonee River Parkway
Chip-timed downhill 5K takes runners through Wauwatosa and along the scenic Menomonee River Parkway and Oak Leaf Trail to TosaFest in Hart Park. A portions of net proceeds will go to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee to support its Wings of Glory youth track club.
Briggs & Als Run & Walk
September 14, Lincoln Memorial Drive
Over 15,000 people take part in this event through downtown Milwaukee and along the Lakefront. Choose from an 8K run, a 5-mile walk, and a 3-mile walk, all to raise funds for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Sept. 15, Start: Spector Park
Run along the scenic Oak Leaf Trail in Shorewood. Food trucks await at the finish! This Shorewood SEED Foundation fundraiser provides the Shorewood School District with financial resources necessary to continue its tradition of excellence and innovation.

Run or walk this nighttime, chip-timed 5K at Milwaukee's Lakefront to honor family and friends who have passed. Participants who raise $100 in pledges can run free. Charity Partners are MS Run the US, Gold in September (childhood cancer), and Operation Finally Home in Wisconsin (homes for Veterans).

Panther Prowl 5K
Oct. 12, Start: UW-Milwaukee
The timed 5K, UW-Milwaukee’s premier race event, is also family- and dog-friendly. A Toddlers' Dash and Kids' Dash kick off the event, and a stroller contest and canine costume contest are among the activities. The course takes runner, walker, and strollers through the surrounding neighborhood and the Olmsted-designed Lake Park. All proceeds support UWM student scholarships.
