2019 Pension Board Retiree Election results are final. We are pleased to announce that we have a new Pension Board Retiree member effective Nov. 01, 2019 – Oct. 31, 2022.
Voting commenced on Aug. 19, 2019, and closed on Aug. 30, 2019, with two candidates on the ballot: David Zepecki (incumbent) and David Robles. During that period, 1093 eligible retirees cast their votes. David Robles captured 78.3% of the votes to secure his seat as the new Pension Board Retiree member. Plans are underway to have Mr. Robles officially sworn in as Trustee and begin his on-boarding process.
Mr. Robles retired as a prosecutor with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in July 2017.
In his candidate statement, Mr. Robles intends to keep retirees "in the loop" with any decisions that may potentially impact benefits. He is a proponent of meaningful communication between the Pension Board, plan participants and beneficiaries.
