On July 1, 2019, the Milwaukee County Mental Health Board (MHB) approved the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division (BHD) Provider Network Credentialing Program. The purpose of the BHD Provider Network Credentialing Program is to ensure that its physician, advanced practice nurse and licensed clinical and counseling psychologist practitioners participating, or those seeking to participate, in the network meet the established minimum thresholds for participation, which include, but are not limited to, the standards of professional licensure, training and certification.

This learning environment will a safe way to hone your skills and get feedback for others to enhance the art of communicating and interacting with others.

All community contracted providers need to be familiar with the policy CARS Housing Guidelines for Case Management Providers policy.
Housing Collaborative: All CARS contracted providers and each case manager/care coordinator is welcome to attend a monthly collaboration meeting regarding Housing. Meetings will include updates from our partners at the Milwaukee County Housing Division, Sharing of Resources, Networking, and Complex Case Reviews.
Housing Collaborative meetings will take place on the Second Monday of each month from 1 PM to 2:30 PM.
Interested in getting even more involved? Stay on the meeting from 2:30 PM to 3 PM to be a part of our Steering Committee.
Any staff that attends the Housing Collaborative will be considered a Housing Champion! Our goal is to build a network of staff that are knowledgable about housing in the Milwaukee community. We want as many Housing Champions as possible!
