2025 Healthy County Challenge

Events that foster wellness

2025 Healthy County Challenge

In 2022, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley launched the Healthy County Challenge in partnership with the Milwaukee Parks Foundation. This initiative was aimed at bringing County residents into parks, trails, nature areas, beaches, and other outdoor spaces to foster physical and mental wellness. For the past three summers, the Healthy County Challenge has hosted 35 events in over 30 parks, attracting nearly 1,500 individuals to get active and engaged in nature.

Back for its fourth summer, the 2025 Healthy County Challenge brings even more opportunities to get outside, move your body, and improve your mental health. This initiative would not be possible without the partnership from the Milwaukee Parks Foundation, Milwaukee County Parks, Buena Tierra Run Club, Milwaukee Domes Alliance, Running Rebels, Urban Ecology Center, Wisconsin Bike Federation, Milwaukee Turners, First Tee Southeast Wisconsin, Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee (SWIM), and Concordia 27/Near West Side Partners.
