MMGUG serves to provide a venue for information sharing, professional communication, ongoing education, vendor presentations and outreach to the GIS community located in Milwaukee and surrounding areas. The group is open to all users and persons having an interest in geospatial technologies (geographic information systems, land information systems, remote sensing and land survey) in the public and private sectors, as well as all levels of education or professional involvement.
MMGUG is an informal group that promotes geographic data sharing, supports data standardization and provides a network for the exchange of technical information between all geographic information system users. Our principle goals are to develop a forum for the open discussion of GIS topics/issues and to foster personal communication between GIS users of all skill levels in the public, private, non-profit and educational sectors.
For more information on MMGUG, email Land Information Council Project Manager Kevin Bruhn or call (414) 278-3927.
