Jewish Museum Milwaukee Enjoy a one hour guided tour through Milwaukee’s Jewish history museum. The January 16 and March 5 tours will feature the permanent exhibit “Jewish Life in Milwaukee Since the 1840s” which details Milwaukee’s unique history of Jewish heritage and culture over the past two hundred years. On February 13, the tour will feature the special exhibit “The Book Smugglers: Partisans, Poets, and the Race to Save Jewish Treasures from the Nazis.” The guided tours provide visitors with insights about the museum that are difficult to discover on one’s own. From personal stories about growing up Jewish in Wisconsin to the finest details about the historical context of our special exhibits, these docent-led experiences provoke curiosity and conversation. The Jewish Museum Milwaukee is fully accessible and ADA compliant.
