Milwaukee County Aging & Disabilities Services is sponsoring free guided tours of the Mitchell Park Domes, Jewish Museum Milwaukee and the Milwaukee County Zoo this winter for older adults (60+).
Mitchell Park Domes Participants will spend one hour with the Park Naturalist, touring all three domes, observing what is currently in bloom, and learning about plants and trees with uniquely interesting features. Participants will have an additional 30 minutes at the end of the guided tour to visit the gift shop or revisit a dome of choice. The January 4 tour will feature the last opportunity to see the Holiday Show Dome. The January 25 through March 14 shows will feature the Winter Train Show. All exhibits at the Domes are ADA accessible. Those enrolled in Milwaukee County Older Adult Transportation Service (OATS) can use the van service to get to the above destinations.
