Contracting with Milwaukee County - First Steps

The road to successful contracting, like all worthwhile endeavors, begins with planned, focused and determined first steps.  The route to government contracting, at the municipal, state or federal level, is very much the same as contracting in the private sector.  Every business should have a thorough understanding of its capabilities and its capacity in very realistic terms.  Developing a detailed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) will assist in this step.  An SOQ will also assist in marketing, outreach and promotion of your business and its services.
