2017 Wellness Calendar

Health Coaching with Froedtert Workforce Health

All employees, regardless of their health status, are welcome to work with a health coach from Workforce Health at no cost. It is an opportunity to work with a health professional who can help you prioritize and set short and long term goals. They'll work with you to develop a plan that fits your needs. Coaching sessions are done over the phone and typically are 15 minutes long.

Employee Assistance Program

The EAP is a free and confidential service offered to Milwaukee County employees and their dependents. Each individual is able to access the EAP for 3 visits on 3 different issues a year. The EAP provides confidential support. They will support you on whatever difficulties you may be facing, whether they are everyday issues or more serious stressful issues. It is available around the clock. When you need it, you can access it.

Total Health Newsletter

The Total Health Newsletter is a partnership between Milwaukee County Risk Management and Employee Wellness. Employees can find information on the latest safety issues and wellness happenings. There is also a short quiz within the newsletter that employees can complete and return to Risk Management to be entered into a prize drawing.

Gym Reimbursement Form

Employees and their dependents, who are on the medical plan, are each eligible for a $100 annual reimbursement for a gym membership or weight managment program (i.e. Weight Watchers). The reimbursement form needs to be submitted to the address on the form along with an offical reciept from the gym or weight management program.
