The Miwaukee County Parks once again received awards from the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association.

  The project included bridge work around Wehr's Mallard Lake and the installation of a new wheelchair-accessible boardwalk through the communities of the Nature Center.

  East Bank Trail
  The 3/4-mile trail makes it possible for users to enjoy the river valley, and it greatly improves the work of local environmental educators from the nearby Urban Ecology Center. It improves public access to the river and instills greater appreciation for its surrounding natural resources.
