Connecting People to University Knowledge

Extension is the community outreach division of UW-Madison in partnership with Milwaukee County. Our educational programs utilize the research and resources of UW-Madison to support and strengthen Milwaukee County youth, families, communities, non-profits, and businesses. Our department designs and implements educational programs, conducts local research, trains leaders and volunteers, and collaborates with community partners for the benefit of citizens in Milwaukee County. We partner with the Department on Aging, Milwaukee Public Schools, the Office of Equity and hundreds of community organizations and non-profits.
