Butterflies for Families Saturday, June 30, 2012  9 a.m.–2 p.m.

Especially designed for families with children age 10 & up

Explore the Nature Center and lakefront parks for butterflies.

Join butterfly enthusiast, Pat Fojut, for this annual butterfly count. Meet at Wehr Nature Center to learn about common butterflies and then hit the trail with our binoculars to tally butterflies and caterpillars.
If you'll be participating in the morning and afternoon, bring a bag lunch if you'd like. After lunch, be part of the caravan as we head out to the lakefront parks.

In the afternoon, we'll investigate along the Lake Michigan shore at Grant and Warnimont parks.
