Special Event Permit Application

A special event permit is required for all outdoor races, runs, public meetings or similar events. Parks and parkways are grouped at different price levels

Fees (subject to 5.6% sales tax)

  1. Base Fees: The base fee is determined by your chosen location and the number of days prior to the event date your payment is received 
  2. Parks Expenses: Special arrangements that may be necessary—such as snow fencing, tables, benches, barricades, etc.—are itemized on the cost estimate form from the Park Unit Manager.

NOTE:

  • The Application is NOT a Permit.
  • Applications MUST be reviewed to ensure all criteria are met. 
  • After final approval of the Application, fees MUST be paid BEFORE the Permit will be issued.
     

     

The City of Milwaukee requires a Temporary Noise Variance Permit for some special events.
