Payer Payment Methods

 

There are four ways for non-custodial parents to make court ordered support payments not made via income withholding. Besides the fees listed below, a payer should contact his/her financial institution or credit card company to determine if other fees apply.

 

Payer Paid Payments

Payments may be sent by a payer with a personal check, cashier's check, or money order to the Wisconsin Support Collection Trust Fund.  The payer must include a payment coupon from his/her monthly statement of account or the first time payment yellow coupon with the payment  The payments should be mailed to:

Pay-By-Phone (PBP)

A payer may use a phone to authorize payments to be withdrawn from a saving or checking account and sent to the Trust Fund. Information is available on the Child Support Program Internet website at http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/bcs/parents.htm under Financial Information. Although a fee is not charged by the child support program to make payments, the payer should confirm the fees assessed by his/her bank.  The payment is not recorded as received until it is received by the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund which can be 5-7 days after the payment is made by phone. ExpertPay

The Expert Pay program allows payers to transfer money from their savings or checking account to pay their child support related debts. A fee of $0.85 per transaction is charged. The payment is not recorded as received until it is received by the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund which can be 5-7 days after the payment is made by Expert Pay. Employers can also use this site to submit court ordered income withholding payments.  If you would like to enroll in the Expert Pay program, contact the Wisconsin Support Collection Trust Fund at (800) 991-5530, (877) 209-5209 TDD.

 

 Pay On-Line with Master Card is a web-based method for payers to make payments on-line from a MasterCard account without preregistering. You click on the e-childspay link https://www.e-childspay.com and fill in your credit card information on the secured website.  Payments cannot be made from a Visa or other credit card account and each transaction is charged a fee of $11.75 by e-childsPay. There may also be charges by the credit card issuing bank. The payment is not recorded as received until it is received by the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund which can be 5-7 days after the payment is made on-line.
