The Parks Administration Building is accessible from Discovery Parkway, the north/south road running between Watertown Plank Road and Swan Boulevard. GPS units may not reflect the new access. The Watertown Plank Road enterance was permanently closed on January 6, 2014 for the Zoo Interchange project. Read more about the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Zoo Interchange Project.

I-794 Eastbound Exit Ramp to Lincoln Memorial Drive Closed through Fall 2015
As part of the Hoan Bridge project, the exit ramp to Lincoln Memorial Drive will be closed. The LMD southbound entrance ramp to I-794 East (Southbound) will also close during this time.

Milwaukee River Parkway Closure
In Lincoln Park

Milwaukee River Parkway will be closed from through Fall 2015. The Parkway will be closed to traffic from Hampton Avenue to Lawn Avenue, with local access to residences south of Lawn. See the map for details

Lake Park Bridge and Ravine Road Closures
Through 2016,  The Lake Park bridge above Ravine Road and Ravine Road will be closed for maintenance.

Forestry Work & Construction:  
Work to improve safety along the OLT will involve intermittent closures of trail segments with minor rerouting.

Detours have been signed for the segment of the OLT between the intersections of East Howard Avenue & South Lake Drive and East Pulaski Avenue and South Sheridan Drive. Please check back for updates.

Menomonee River Parkway
The Parkway will be accessible to local traffic only from Mayfair Road to North Avenue. Oak Leaf Trail patrons should follow posted detours.
Phase 2 construction begins Monday, July 13 at Burleigh, working south toward the Wauwatosa Village. Detours and closures will be signed.

Road Closures within Brown Deer Park
From Tuesday, July 28-Sunday, Aug. 2 a portion of the drive in Brown Deer Park will be closed for the PHC Classic / Symetra Tour. People walking may bypass the barricades. See the map.
