Oak Creek Parkway to Close for Reconstruction
06/06/18 Update:

The Oak Leaf Trail along the Oak Creek Parkway will be closed from 13th Avenue on the west to North Chicago Avenue on the east, beginning Monday, June 11. While the trail will remain open to these end points, trail users can avoid backtracking by taking the detour along Milwaukee Avenue. The project includes removal and upgrades of the storm sewer, curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement. Completion of the project is anticipated in Fall 2018.

Intermittent Oak Leaf Trail Closures / Detour
Beginning July 6 and continuing for about a year, DOT construction on the Watertown Plank Road Bridge Project will cause intermittent closures of the OLT between 115th Street and Underwood Creek Parkway. Closures, due to risk of falling debris, are expected to last 1-2 days at a time. See plan for detour.

Forestry Work & Construction:
Work to improve safety along the OLT will involve intermittent closures of trail segments with minor rerouting. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO POSTED SIGNAGE
