Meet Tufts the Owl at Owl Prowl

Owl Prowl for Adults:
Dec. 11, 2015, from 7-9 p.m.
Jan. 15, 2016, from 7-9 p.m.
Jan. 16, 2016, Matinee from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m.

Owl Prowl for Families:
Dec. 12, 2015, from 6:30–8:30 pm
Jan 30, 2016, Matinee from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Recommended for children 6 and up

Owl Prowl for Scouts:

Jan. 23, 2016, from 4–6 p.m.

Please register by the Wednesday before the program

Look and listen for owls as a naturalist leads you on a walk in the woodlands. You'll search for the Eastern Screech Owl and the Great Horned Owl. You'll learn about the habits and adaptations of these nocturnal neighbors. A slide presentation on Wisconsin owls will follow the hike. Dress in warm layers and bring a flashlight.


Owl Prowl for Scouts
Jan. 23, 2016, from 4–6 p.m.
Location: Ross Lodge in Whitnall Park

Scout and youth groups are invited to spend an evening out with the owls. Through fun activities, kids will learn about the amazing adaptations and habits of owls. A hike in Mangan Woods in Whitnall Park gives kids the opportunity to look and listen for owls


Grade Level: In second grade or above
Chaperones: One adult for every 5 children. Fees as listed
Preregistration: Required by Wed
